NA speaker forms a CPEC panel for overseeing projects

Islamabad: The National Assembly (NA) Speaker Asad Qaiser has formed a parliamentary committee on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a news source reported. This panel will be responsible for overseeing ongoing projects.
The panel’s formation comes as the speaker pursues the motions adopted by the NA on February 21 and the Senate on March 1.
The panel is comprised of 14 members of the NA and seven senators who belong to all major political parties having representation in the parliament.
